Sure thing, here we go—

So, today’s like, this huge day for Honkai: Star Rail, right? Everyone’s been hyped for this big crossover thing with Fate/stay night. I mean, it’s an RPG where you don’t have to spend a dime if you don’t want to—crazy, right? Anyway, this event’s a big deal.
Oh, and it’s happening just after patch 3.4 rolled out. That update wasn’t just random bits and bobs, no, it brought in way more than just some story from that visual novel thing.
We knew this was coming. The developers spilled the beans back in June, during some livestream. And guess what? Two guest characters from Fate/stay night are dropping in. Pretty cool if that’s your jam.
Here’s something to chew on: the crossover stuff isn’t vanishing anytime soon. No exact end date plastered anywhere, though whispers are saying it might stick around till November. Who knows.
Speaking of characters, Saber slashes in as a 5-Star Wind/Destruction hero. But hold on, there’s more. Archer joins the party too, a Quantum/Hunt type, and he’s free! But only if you log in during the event window. Saber, on the flip side, needs a bit of luck and some game currency to scoop up. Oh, and Archer comes with goodies to bump him to level 60 straight away.
I’ve seen folks talking about banners for these characters. Four of them, to be exact. Interesting bit? No better drop rates for 4-star characters or weapons. Random, huh? But at least you’re getting Saber’s light cone after 200 tries. Makes you wonder if that number’s intentional or just number soup.
Random tidbit: The Fate characters don’t have English voices. Like, at all. Part of a bigger picture or an odd design choice? Anyway, MiHoYo’s been in hot waters about some strike stuff with US voice actors. Coincidence? Maybe.
Oh, and don’t miss the new Trailblaze thing called Sweet Dreams and the Holy Grail. Until August 11, you can dive into this combat challenge for cool rewards, though some of it is limited time. It’ll later weave into the game’s regular content. Decent stuff if you’re into challenges.
A bit more on new stuff—earlier this month, they added more characters unrelated to Fate. Remember Phainon? NPC turned hero. Yep, he’s now playable, stepping up as a 5-Star Physical/Destruction standout.
And reruns are happening. Phase one kicked off with Tribbie, Sunday, and Sparkle making a return. Phase two is on the radar for July 23 with Firefly (new outfit, yay), Jingliu, and Blade. Plus, update 3.4 gave some shiny new mechanics to Kafka, Silver Wolf, and Blade. Perfect timing with Jingliu back, huh?
All right, I’ll stop rambling. That’s today’s chaos in the world of Honkai.
