Oh man, so here’s the deal with this soccer RPG I’ve been eagerly waiting on—it’s like they hit pause on my excitement button. Yeah, the game was supposed to drop on August 21, but now we’re looking at, what, nearly three extra months? Annoying, right? Apparently, they need more time for voice stuff, different languages, and I dunno, probably making sure everyone gets to hear the cool lines in their own tongue. Fair play to them, I guess.
There’s a 14-minute video buried somewhere on the Level-5 JP YouTube channel (didn’t count, but sounds about right if my memory serves me). They try to explain the reasons for stalling… kind of makes sense, if that’s your thing. Or maybe I just lost track halfway through. Who knows.
Alright, so getting back on track, waiting sucks but if it makes the game shine, maybe it’s worth it? I’ve got this game marked on my calendar for November 13 now. It’s still rolling out on everything under the sun—PS5, PS4, Switch 1 and 2 (yep, there’s a second one), Xbox Series, and Steam. Can’t hide my excitement forever.
So, spill the beans, folks. Is this delay bumming you out, or is it just me having too many late-night gaming sessions with expectations sky-high? Did that video do anything for ya? I’m all ears.
