Sure thing, here goes:
—
Monopoly Go’s got this new ad thing — yeah, it’s like a sitcom throwback with family feuds over board games. Nostalgia much? They’re calling it The Dice Life, and it’s like they went on a star-studded shopping spree or something.
Will Ferrell’s in there — classic move, right? He’s back to being Mr. Monopoly’s voice, mixed up with these 90s TV skits. Kind of wild, but hey, who doesn’t love a bit of chaos?
I read somewhere, I think The Drum, that this whole shebang is from Omelet, the creative folks behind it (sounds tasty, no?). They teamed up with Scopely, the people who made Monopoly Go, to craft a tribute of sorts to those TV glory days. There’s this theme song too, and if it doesn’t remind you of 90s jams, I dunno what will.
And if you’re a fan, you might spot Jake Johnson from New Girl and Sunita Mani from Glow. It’s a short ad, but man, it drums up that board game drama we all know too well.
Oh, right, and about Monopoly Go’s summer plans — they’re not slacking. Just heard they’re doing a Marvel tie-in with The Fantastic Four: First Steps. It’s dropping on July 13, bringing those iconic characters and spots into play.
They’re also throwing in mini-games, events, collectibles — the whole nine yards. Plus, there’s a new Partners Event on the horizon. Speaking of which, where’s that next Treasures Event? The last one wrapped in June, and I’m already itching for more.
And, hey, if you’re out of the loop, check out those free Monopoly Go Dice Links for July. Saves a buck or two, huh? Anyway, that’s the scoop. Or part of it — who knows what’s next?
