Recently, Bikini Bottom’s been buzzing in the gaming world—starting with Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated, which was like a facelift for the original, I think? Not too sure, but it seems like it worked because they released The Cosmic Shake and The Patrick Star Game after that. That’s three games in five years. Not too shabby, right?

And LEGO gets this brainwave—picture all those iconic Bikini Bottom locations, like Krusty Krab and the Chum Bucket, coming to life with those bright, colorful bricks. It’s not like LEGO and SpongeBob are strangers, but it’s been forever since LEGO sets hit the stores. Since 2012, maybe? Anyway, a game merging these two could be bonkers—in the best way! An open-world LEGO SpongeBob with the whole Nickelodeon crew in tow? We could explore for ages, just collecting pieces like a kid discovering pocket money under the couch cushions.
