Sure thing, here we go:
—
So, here’s the scoop. Earlier today, the big Honkai: Star Rail version 3.4 livestream dropped, right when they said it would. Everyone was buzzing, like usual, about the new characters. Honestly, every time a new version comes out, it’s like opening a present. And, yes, they really did showcase the new folks who’ll soon be joining the free-to-play RPG.
But wait, the mega news everyone can’t stop yammering about? The Fate/stay night collab event. I guess they teased it back in August last year, you know, when Fate/stay night got its long-awaited English update and fancy remaster. Seriously, it feels like forever since they announced the thing. Now, ten months later, we’re finally seeing it come to life. Almost time to dive in!
New faces in Version 3.4? We’ve got Fate series stars Saber (strutting in as a 5-Star Wind/Destruction hero—her banner’s all set for the gacha) and Archer—you log in, you get him. No catch. Both will be sticking around longer than usual, from Version 3.4 till around November. Plenty of time to snag ‘em.
Oh, and if that wasn’t enough, Phainon is getting his moment. Remember him from Amphoreus? Yeah, he’s been hanging around since Version 3.0, but now he’s stepping up as a playable unit. He’s bringing along his mighty Physical/Destruction powers. And since this Fate collab dances to its own beat, all three characters are dropping in Phase 1.
Hold on, there’s more—six rerun banners! Yep, Tribbie, Sunday, and Sparkle return for a limited time in Phase 1. Then, Firefly, Jingliu, and Blade pop back in for Phase 2. No brand-new faces in the second half, but come on, with a line-up like this, who’s really grumbling?
Now, if you’re into Stellaron Hunters, Version 3.4’s got treats for you too. Battle mechanics and Eidolon effects are getting spruced up for Kafka, Silver Wolf, and Blade. And hey, Firefly’s snagging a fresh outfit. Jingliu’s getting a kit tweak as well—hope she’s not jumping into Elio’s wild mercenary team! Or, hey, maybe that’d be cool.
Mark your calendars, ’cause Honkai: Star Rail 3.4 goes live July 2nd, with the second banner phase starting July 23rd. Didn’t catch the livestream? Check out the VOD below.
Oh, a quick look back—Version 3.3 in May debuted Hyacine and brought back The Herta too. Heck of a time. Cipher also joined the crew last week with returning favorites.
Almost forgot, English voice actors for the Trailblazers got swapped. Whole saga tied to their solidarity with SAG-AFTRA. They paused their video game voice actor strike after some big studios finally decided to play nice. No word yet on other main character actors like Dan Heng and Himeko. Fingers crossed.
Anyway, that’s the lot for now—catch you on the next update!
