Man, the Fighters Guild in Oblivion—yeah, you know, that classic game—it’s the only one of those big four faction questlines where hammer-swinging beasties actually fit right in. Like, props to Gogron gro-Bolmog for smashing those stereotypes—literally. Now, here’s the kicker: there’s this new mod that’s got me considering ditching my trusty stealth archer. Who would’ve thought?
So, just yesterday, a modder called ColdTyrant tossed out a cool little number. It lets you murder your way through the Dark Brotherhood to infinity and beyond, snagging gacha-style loot. But bam! Not even a day later, ColdTyrant’s back, setting their sights on the faction that ends up—spoiler alert—throwing down with some tree juice fanatics.
This new mod—let me get the name right—’Fighter’s Guild – Infinitum,’ kicks off with over 100 random monster hunts that just loop forever. It’s like the guild’s got this endless questline now. Picture it: you get a note, you hunt a beastie in some Cyrodiil dungeon, you get a pat on the back and some loot. And get this, every monster has a glowy aura, making them pop in those dim, damp caves. Handy, right?
Okay, so it’s not all perfect. There’s no loot lottery here like with that other mod—no Morrowindy gacha element. But hey, 500 gold and a couple of “Fighter’s Commendations” ain’t bad. Those commendations? Spend ’em at a new guild store that popped up in Leyawiin. Choices, choices.
On the flip side, ColdTyrant added a bit of spice—’cause you can totally claim the top floor of the Leyawiin guildhall as your own turf by playing around with NPC schedules. Sweet, right? It’s all got this Witcher vibe, living like Geralt. Think about it: it’s Oblivion—your character probably already looks weird enough to get side-eyed in society, so why not embrace it?
Curious about throwing down with ‘Fighter’s Guild – Infinitum’? Grab what you need: Oblivion Remastered’s UE4SS and UE4SS TesSyncMapInjector—I can never say that right. Oh, and ColdTyrant apparently dropped a hint in the comments—next up might be an Arena mod. Stay tuned.
And if you swing by Modryn Oreyn, give him a nod for me. Meanwhile, keep an eye on our ongoing tales of Oblivion Remastered mods. You never know what’s coming next.
