Oh boy, guess what? There’s this game called “Into the Radius 2” and it’s doing a sorta shuffle, dance, hop onto the Quest 3 and 3S. Yep, later this month. Crazy, right?
So, in case you’re totally out of the loop, here’s the lowdown: it’s this survival shooter game where you find yourself plopped into some bizarre, creepy place — literally called the Pechorsk Security Zone. You can wander solo or buddy up with someone. CM Games from Estonia cooked this up, and they first chucked it out there on Steam Early Access. Then bam, back in Feb, they go, “Hey, Quest 3 and 3S folks, you’re next.” And now, mark your calendar — it’s arriving on May 21.
But hang on, don’t expect everything to match the PC VR version right off the bat. It’s like, they’ve got this big ol’ list of features to bring over. Some stuff won’t be there yet, like the Pechorsk Outskirts and Distortion Zones. And if you wanted to play across platforms? Forget it for now — that’s a “not yet” situation. Also, Quest 2? Total no-go on that one.
Still, don’t fret too much! They say most of the cool stuff from the ‘Ghost Town’ update is actually gonna be there from the start. So, you’ll still get those funky new chest rigs, shout to your mates with proximity voice chat in co-op, and yeah, all those swanky guns and attachments. Sounds kinda fun, right? We’ll keep you posted as the story unfolds.
Right now, if Steam is your jam, you can dive into Into the Radius 2 through Early Access. And then — drumroll please — May 21 for the Quest 3/3S gang. So, who’s jumping in?
