Upcoming Nightfall: Fresh Challenges and Exciting Rewards

Updated January 7, 2025: Yet another week has arrived in the world of Destiny 2, which means it’s time for the usual mission, challenge, and reward reset. Fans have been eagerly awaiting this day, as Episode Revenant continues its journey with Act 3, bringing a thrilling addition: the exotic mission known as Kell’s Fall. Completing this mission unlocks the Slayer’s Fang, an exotic shotgun that’ll undoubtedly be the talk of the community.

Interestingly, there was an unexpected twist for fans of the original Destiny over the past weekend. Reports started popping up about a surprise update that equipped the Tower social space with decorations reminiscent of The Dawning, complete with Ghost-shaped lights. Digging deeper, players realized these decorations were perhaps assets from a canceled event back in 2017 called Days of the Dawning. It seems like the event was forgotten but never completely scrubbed from the game’s files.

Act 3’s new content coincides perfectly with Destiny 2’s weekly refresh, bringing a whole suite of activities, challenges, and rewards that Guardians can pursue in the coming days.
