Let’s get you geared up and ready to dive into the thrilling world of Fatal Fury!

So, let’s talk about how the REV System can give you that competitive edge. Mastering this system is your key to turning the tide in battle. With REV Arts, you can amplify your special moves, while REV Accel lets you craft eye-catching combos to put the pressure on your rivals. Defensively, the REV Guard button (R1) is your best friend, helping you fend off attacks and increasing your chances of victory. It’s easy to employ since it only takes a press of a button, making it a strategic choice when you anticipate a cross-up. This works effectively against moves like Kain’s Schwarzes Rondo setups or when B. Jenet goes for her Gulf Tomahawk follow-up. While holding the REV Guard, you can also initiate other actions, such as using a grab to escape an opponent’s grapple or a hop to reposition strategically. Make it a habit to press REV Guard upon waking to shield yourself in the heat of battle.

Now, let’s explore how the REV System can help you unleash an array of spectacular combos. What better way to showcase some of the game’s finest combos than with our iconic returning characters: Mai Shiranui, Rock Howard, and Terry Bogard! We’ve prepared step-by-step guides for each character, letting you execute top-tier combos whether you’re challenging friends or facing competitors online.

Starting with Mai Shiranui, you’ll kick off with a (Close) Neutral HK, swiftly moving into a feint, followed by (Close) Neutral HP and launching into an HP Hana Arashi (braking). This sequence leads into REV Ryuuenbu ～ REV Sayo Chidori, then a swift HK Hissatsu Shinobi Bachi (braking), and finally, REV Hissatsu Shinobi Bachi ～ REV Hana Arashi (braking) which elegantly concludes with Kagerou no Mai.

For Rock Howard, begin with a (Close) Neutral HK, and then glide into a →+Feint, followed by ↓HP. From there, unleash REV Hard Edge ～ REV Rage Run Type: Layup, transition into an HP Rising Tackle (braking), execute an HP Reppuu Ken, then REV Rising Tackle ～ REV Shippuu Ken, finishing with his signature Raging Storm.

As for Terry Bogard, initiate with (Close) Neutral HP・→ HP and then the →+Feint technique. Move into a (Far) Neutral HP, proceed with REV Burning Knuckle, then REV Crack Shoot. Follow this sequence with an HK Power Dunk (braking), advance to REV Power Charge, and continue with REV Burning Wave, then REV Power Dunk. Finish with an air maneuver right before landing and perform a REV Blow, culminating in the powerful Cosmic Strike Geyser.
