RuneScape: Dragonwilds has made an impressive entrance into the gaming world, clinching the title of the second highest-grossing game on Steam last week. Released on April 15th, it has already drawn a peak of 52,641 users playing simultaneously, based on SteamDB figures. For Jagex, it marks a notable success with this rare new addition to its lineup.
Meanwhile, Counter-Strike 2 continues to hold the crown as Steam’s top earner for the week, with RuneScape: Dragonwilds edging out Schedule 1, which now sits in third place. Holding its ground in fourth is the Steam Deck, maintaining its popularity.
The action RPG, Last Epoch, has made a triumphant return to the Top Ten, climbing 76 places to land in fifth. This surge follows the excitement surrounding the release of the game’s second season. The co-op horror adventure, REPO, remains solidly in sixth.
Marvel Rivals experienced a slight drop, slipping four spots to land in seventh, while Baldur’s Gate 3 by Larian moved up a notch, benefitting from a sustained discount on Steam.
Rounding out the top ten is Tempest Rising, a spiritual nod to Command and Conquer. Remarkably, it managed to debut in the tenth spot despite encountering some technical hiccups at its launch.
