Thunderful has just unveiled its second developer diary for "Lost In Random: The Eternal Die," which is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch.
Narrative Director Oskar Hanska takes the spotlight this time, diving into elements of the game’s narrative, including character choices and the intriguing voice acting.
Formerly known as Thunderful Gothenburg, Stormteller Games is bringing the next chapter of the eerie and whimsical Lost in Random universe to life with a rogue-lite action twist.
In this installment, after Mare the Knight traps Aleksandra—previously The Queen—and her ally Fortune within the Black Die, players must battle their way through a randomly generated gauntlet. You’ll face off against monstrous pawns and giant board games in your quest.
Triumph in these encounters will land you treasures to bolster your abilities against Aleksandra’s tormentor, yet it is your cleverness and faithful die companion that are key to navigating this chaotic labyrinth where evil dominates and chance is king.
Publisher details reveal several of the game’s standout features:
-
Mastery Meets Chance: Dive into electrifying combat where real-time actions meet strategic choices, sprinkled with just the right amount of luck.
-
Forge Your Playstyle: Use four distinct weapons, partner with your die companion, and mix more than 100 relics with potent, card-based abilities to create explosive results.
