Hope Becomes Reality: Arc Raiders Set to Launch This October

Oh man, you ever have one of those moments where things just click, like, “Finally!” That’s kinda how it went down at today’s Summer Game Fest. Arc Raiders fans, bless ’em, got what they’d been itching for. So, back in May, right? There was this Tech Test—basically a peek behind the curtain—and folks were hooked. Like, fishing-line-tangled-in-your-hair hooked. The game was so smooth even then that some peeps were basically yelling, “Just release it already!”

But today—okay, not exactly a big “Here you go!” launch—but we did get a release date for the shooter. Ah, the sweet relief of dates on a calendar.

Some folks were dreaming, “Hey, maybe another beta?” But nah, seems like they gotta kick back for a bit longer. Which kinda sucks, especially for those who missed out on Tech Test 2. Picture this: you’re stuck watching others play, reading their breakdowns, like some distant admirer. Fun? Not really.

But hang tight—Embark, the brains behind Arc Raiders, just dropped the bombshell. October 30, 2025. Mark it. Yeah, it’s hitting PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S. And I’m guessing we’ll see more flare since they’ve been tinkering with it post-Tech Test 2.

Not that it needed a massive overhaul or anything. I mean, it already has this cool character, the gameplay’s like sipping a good cocktail—smooth with a kick—and it teleports me to that golden PUBG era. You feel me?

Embark and Geoff Keighley—those two are tight, like Batman and Robin. Remember when they first showed off Arc Raiders at The Game Awards in 2021? Back when it was just a co-op shooter. Now, fast forward— The Finals drops out of nowhere in December 2023, and everyone’s glued to their screens. Naturally, Summer Game Fest rolls in, and fans were like, “Okay, what now?”
