Sure thing, here we go:
So, guess what? We’re back at it this week—Sid, Tim, and yours truly. We got caught up in the latest Grand Theft Auto VI trailer, which, surprisingly, left me thinking about that time my car broke down in the middle of nowhere. Why? No clue. It just did. Happens sometimes.
Anyway—wait, where was I? Oh yeah, we’re also chatting about Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Have you ever played a turn-based RPG that feels like it’s taking you on a wild carousel ride? Yeah, that’s the vibe here. I mean, who thought combining strategy with chaos could be this… fun? Or maybe it’s just me overthinking stuff. Who knows.
Oh, and Doom: The Dark Ages? Picture this: swords, darkness, and a weird sense of nostalgia like when you find an old game cartridge under your bed. Or maybe in the attic. Is that just my thing? Whatever. It’s like Doom, but not Doom, if that even makes sense.
Heads up for next week! Some cool releases coming up:
- Labyrinth of the Demon King – If PS5 and PS4 had a secret party, this would be the DJ.
- Palia – PS5, probably gonna keep me up at night.
- Smash Drums on PS VR2 – Honestly, who doesn’t want to "drum out" their stress?
- Doom: The Dark Ages – I know, I already mentioned it, but it deserves a second shout. Trust me.
- Capcom Fighting Collection 2 – PS4 is getting a bit punchy with this one.
And don’t even get me started on Destiny 2’s new expansions, The Edge of Fate and Renegades. It’s like, July 15 and December 2 are circled on my calendar, but in pencil, because, you know, life happens.
Elden Ring Nightreign… If I were a class, I’d probably be the one who forgets to read combat tutorials. Just saying.
As for Death Stranding 2, I got my hands on it and had a bit of a chat with Hideo Kojima—not like we’re best friends, but wouldn’t that be cool? The guy’s got thoughts. Loads of them. It’s intense but in a good way.
And oh, Helldivers 2’s Masters of Ceremony? Talk about a show-stopper. Like, they bring the flash, the pomp, the whole circus act without the clowns (thankfully, I’m not a fan).
Last but not least—Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4. Skate parks galore! Makes me think of that one time I tried skating and ended up eating pavement. But hey, the nine new parks might just convince me to try again. Or not. We’ll see.
By the way, big shoutout to Dormilón for the killer tunes. I mean, without them, our podcast would sound like a silent disco gone wrong.
Quick note from the editor: Game release dates? Total moving targets. So, keep an eye out for changes, and don’t blame me if your favorite game’s release gets postponed. Happens to the best of us.
Catch you next time!
