ATLUS has unveiled the English voice cast for the highly anticipated Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, set to launch on the Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.
This remaster is particularly exciting as it introduces full voiceovers for the first time, something the original game did not feature. Here’s who will be bringing the characters to life:
- Raidou Kuzunoha XIV will be voiced by Stephen Fu.
- Gouto-Douji will have the voice of Ray Chase.
- Tae Asakura will be brought to life by Dawn M. Bennett.
- Kaya Daijouji will feature the voice of Kayli Mills.
- Rasputin will be voiced by Chris Okawa.
- Munakata will be portrayed by Joe Zieja.
The game, originally released for PlayStation 2 as Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army, is getting a thorough remaster. Players can look forward to an updated battle system, enhanced graphics, and those fresh voiceovers enhancing the main storyline. Plus, several quality-of-life improvements have been made to ensure a smoother gameplay experience.
The story kicks off when a young heiress comes to the Narumi Detective Agency with a bizarre appeal—she wants them to kill her. Before they can dig deeper into her motives, she’s abruptly kidnapped. It’s up to Raidou Kuzunoha XIV, an apprentice detective and Devil Summoner tasked with safeguarding the Capital, to take on the case.
As Raidou delves into his investigation, he’ll journey across the city, including venturing into the Dark Realm—a treacherous crossroads between our world and one filled with demons. What starts as a straightforward missing person’s case quickly unravels into a conspiracy that threatens not just the Capital but the entire nation.
Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army will be available both in stores and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide on June 19, 2025. Pre-ordering fans will be rewarded with a special in-game item—Raidou Glasses, inspired by the Taisho era.
