Sure thing, let’s try to make this as human as possible:
So, guess what? Square Enix finally said something about when Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is hitting the Nintendo Switch 2. And I’m kind of excited, but also like, why didn’t they do this sooner? Anyway, that’s just me.
They’ve shipped over seven million copies of this thing! Digitally, physically—you name it. You get to hang out with Cloud Strife, who used to be with SOLDIER and now he’s kind of doing his own thing as a mercenary. He teams up with this group called Avalanche. It’s all set in this super cool, but kind of dystopian city, Midgar. The vibe? Mako-powered madness.
Cloud and his group are fighting against Shinra, this huge company that’s got its fingers in everything. They’re trying to save the planet, or something like that. The stakes feel big, you know? It’s like every Final Fantasy ever, but it’s FFVII, so it’s special.
Oh, and there’s an extra story bit too—Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade throws in something called FF7R EPISODE INTERmission. Yuffie, this ninja from Wutai (she’s got some spunk to her, I swear), sneaks into Midgar. It’s during the main game’s timeline, and it adds a whole new layer. I played as her once, and kind of fell in love with shurikens, but that’s off-topic.
So mark your calendars: It’s dropping both in stores and online on the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo Switch 2 around Winter 2025. That’s far off, but something to look forward to, right? I’m still wrapping my head around how they keep these games so epic year after year. Seriously, mind-blown.
Oh, and there’s a trailer too, floats around the internet like a feather—or something less poetic. Have a look if you’re into that sort of thing.
