Alright, here goes—my brain kinda jumped all over this, bear with me.
Okay, so this week I thought, "Hey, let’s take it easy," but then bam, it got busy. Like, first-week-of-August busy. Anyway, uh, Gradius Origins, remember that from that March Direct? Yeah, those lasers are supposed to wreck the NES Pro Wrestling boss. Weird job, laser.
And there’s remakes. The House of the Dead 2—I mean, watch out for Forever Entertainment, though. Then you flip the script with, like, these anime titles. Demon Slayer’s back, and so is Fate/Hollow Ataraxia. Anime overload, but I’m not complaining.
Small-time stuff—weirdly, The Edge of Allegoria kind of gives off this Pokémon RBY vibe, but in HD. Don’t sue me, Pokémon people. Oh, and Team17’s got this Ritual of Raven thing.
Oh, before I forget—last week’s memory jog: There was this Partner Showcase. Cozy by the fireplace, anyone? And another saga tease from Square Enix. People, saga reveals aren’t compulsory. You know? Taito called it "Field Day" in their Archives; I probably missed that memo.
Some console called EggConsole—or Eggconsole, whatever—has a game that’s, um, stuck between action RPG and too much talking. Know Japanese? You’re set. If not, time to wing it.
The Chatter:
North America: Money flying like whoa. Demon Slayer at 60 bucks, but Cats on Duty cheaper at 16. It’s kinda strange how the price gradient works. Does Yarn have guardians? Maybe.
Europe: Demon Slayer’s still steep, but Turbo Kid drops midweek. Rituals, ravens, and races—try saying that five times fast.
Japan: Yuukyuu no Tierblade leads with a hefty price tag. Meanwhile, Train Sign Collection catches my eye…trains, right? Yeah, I need sleep.
Sales talk—Roki’s on a 90% off ride until mid-month. Bargain alert or something. PSPrices and DekuDeals will know more, probably. If you’re into price drops, you’re welcome.
And yeah, if I missed something, no one’s surprised. So many games, so little brain space. Carry on!
