Nintendo Download Update: June 12, 2025 (North America)

This week’s Nintendo eShop update in North America is honestly quite a trip. It’s all about new games for both Nintendo Switch 2 and the classic Nintendo Switch. Plus, a bunch of discounts. Why do I care so much about discounts? I don’t know, maybe because I’m perpetually broke. Happens to the best of us, right?

Oh, the deals this week! They’ve got some real steals, like seriously, you might want to check the full list on Nintendo of America’s website. But do it at your own risk—your wallet might cry.

Nintendo Switch Games Coming Out This Week

So there’s this chaotic list of games rolling out, and I swear, every title sounds as if it popped out of a fever dream. Like, "Arcade Archives Ridge Racer"—classic arcade nostalgia, or is it just me?

And then there’s "Battle Train" smashing onto the scene on Wednesday, June 18. Trains? Battles? Sold.

Who could resist "Bubble Wizard III Saga"? I didn’t even know there was a Bubble Wizard II. Whatever.

"BUGDASU"—I mean, are bugs involved? I’m both curious and slightly horrified.

How about "Can’t Sleep? Meditation, Deep Rest, and Relaxation"? Imagine if this helped with my chronic insomnia. Nah, probably won’t, but it’s a nice thought.

"Cat Cosmic Puzzle" – it’s cats and cosmic stuff. Do you even need more reasons?

"Clash of Weirdos – Card Carnage," now there’s a title that’s going to keep me up. Weirdos and cards have never let me down.

And get this—"Cocktail & Bartender Guide." I love a game that instantly ups my fixed income party life. Cheers.

Are you ready to "Date Everything!" on Tuesday, June 17? Sounds like my kind of chaos. Not sure if that’s a game or… anyway.

"Digging a Hole: Gold Fever" – let’s go treasure hunting, digitally. Spoiler: probably no real gold.

Then there’s "EGGCONSOLE Revival Xanadu Easy Ver PC-9801." Maybe it’s a throwback? I don’t even know anymore.

"Fairy Whale." Magical aquatic creatures, or a band name? You decide.

"Gex Trilogy," hitting Monday, June 16—hello, nostalgia, my old friend.

"Gunma’s Ambition -You and me are Gunma- Reiwa 2nd national census edition." I have questions. No answers, just questions.

Onward to "Higgs Boson: Puzzle Collection"—are these about… particles? Physics? Headaches? Quite possibly.

"hololive Treasure Mountain MegaPack" showing up Wednesday, June 18 with a – what? Did I just write that? Okay.

"HoloParade: Deluxe Edition" also on Wednesday, June 18. It’s like a parade in my living room, but with less clean-up.

"Instants" suddenly materializes, like a surprise visit from your favorite cousin.

"Kingdom Rush Vengeance" – ready for battle! Or was I supposed to do my laundry?

Then we have "LABYBAN," sounding like a creature or maybe a place. Did I zone out again?

"Leftovers KO!" I think my fridge needs this. No, really.

"Legendary Hoplite." So, historical fantasy? Level up my weekend.

Lost? "Lost in Random: The Eternal Die," arriving Tuesday, June 17. Find yourself in randomness. Literally.

"Make it! Sushi" – kitchen goals, minus the salmonella.

"Mastering Metaphors"—because we all want to speak photogenic.

"Nightshade Mysteries Eternal Moon Collector’s Edition," just when nighttime couldn’t get weirder.

And suddenly, "No Sun To Worship," flashing in on Wednesday, June 18. Vampire vibes, anyone?

"Out of Sight," which sounds like a disappearing act. Maybe I’ll do one of those right now.

"Prison Alone" – too real, man. Too real.

"Puff Up" – this could mean many things, none of which I comprehend.

"Re:Fresh," which I guess we all need, but a digital one sounds kind of ambitious?

How about "Rooftops & Alleys: The Parkour Game," out Tuesday, June 17? So, it’s like the time I tried to parkour and ended up with a twisted ankle. No? Just me?

Then we "Shipwrecked Raft Survival." Because surviving without WiFi is… a skill?

"Squeakross: Home Squeak Home." Is anyone else imagining tiny little shoes squeaking around?

"Street Vendor Simulator"—finally, my virtual chance to perfect selling hot dogs. Life goals.

Moving swiftly to "TETRA’s Escape 2," arriving Friday, June 13. I guess TETRA didn’t escape the first time?

"The Lost Dino: Survival Expedition" – dinosaurs! Everyone loves a prehistoric mission.

"The Paper Time Travelers," could be messy but might as well jump on board—wherever it’s heading.

And finally, "Y. Village – The Visitors," also available Friday, June 13. A game about visitors, or am I just losing it?

Then there’s "Zoo Merge," also hitting on that ominous Friday, June 13. It sounds cute, if not aggressively chaotic. A bit like this list and all my weird tangents. Anyway, bargain hunt wisely!
